Bought one of these through Amazon from XHeli.
The first one didn't work because the battery wouldn't charge.
So I exchanged it for another one of the same kind.
Well to make a long story short I'm having the same problem with this one that arrived today.
I can't get the battery to take a charge. After a short time the light on the charger comes on.
My S006 takes an hour and a half to charge and I have tried the same charger on both.
I have a S006 that works fine, it flies for 8 or more minutes.
I can't get the S006G to fly for more then a minute and a half.
I have to say that when I does fly it flies great.
As with all these twin rotor helicopters you have to ad some weight to the nose to get it to fly faster, so that it will penetrate even a very slight wind. But even without the weigh it flies pretty well.
I have't decided whether to send this one back or try changing batteries.
I have to pay for the shipping ($12) to send it back and I've already done that once.
I'll soon have the cost of the thing in shipping.

I am an adult enthusiast of mini helicopters. I read some(bad)reviews on the Syma S006g, saw the video reviews on Youtube and felt confident I could make adjustments to this helicopter (trim)and fly it without crashing and ruining it.
Well, I experienced the same systematic problems others wrote about in their reviews of this helicopter on the Amazon site. There are numerous problems I had with this copter out of the box I couldn't resolve. First of all, the helicopter shipped to me appeared to be used or re-boxed. It had smudge prints on the hood and the charger and cords had scotch tape wrapped around them. This helicopter had a missing piece on the stabilizer bar (only had one instead of two) but it would still fly indoors (kind of). It took about 1 1/2hrs. to charge and the battery (which was bad) would only last about 3-4 mins. and the helicopter would only lift about 1-3 feet above the ground. I tried to charge it a couple of times but still no luck with it holding a charge. Sent it back for a refund because of these problems. (Amazon was awesome on this point). Save your money, buy another helicopter. To contrast, I also bought a Titan Gyro 3ch Mini Helicopter for $23.00 including shipping. It is an excellent flying machine. It is worth twice what I paid for it! I timed the charge time (31 mins.) with the USB cord that I plugged into a cell phone adapter. It flies consistently for 9-11 mins! At best, the S006g took 1 1/2 hrs. to charge for 8-10 mins of flying time (according to specs.) Do yourself and favor, stay far away from the Syma S006g. It it poorly engineered and put together. It needs a better power source and a shorter charging time. Hope this review helps!
