I've adopted to this new RC helicopter as well as RC jet hobby a year now and this is pretty much the best bang for your bucks. First let me tell you that a lot of people write negative comments due to their lack of experience in such. This helicopter was more or less designed for medium level as some starters would also do well flying it. Just make sure you buy extra parts as recommended below so you don't have to get all frustrated and run to the nearest hobby store 20 miles away looking for something you don't even know.
Start slow and learn to hover and those funky looking clown landing training balls do help a lot. Don't try to show off because you will crash. The battery will give you more than 10 minutes of flight and it charges quick. Buy an extra battery.
Remember, you cannot be cheap if you want to get into this hobby.
