Avoid this charger at all cost, as another reviewer said, it is definitely wired incorrectly. When I inserted the charger into the helicopter, the blades started to spin even though the helicopter was in the off position. I then smelled smoke....coming from my computer. This lovely little charger shorted out two of my USB ports on my computer leaving a lovely burnt smell. Be aware DO NOT BUY 0 Stars

Don't charge your helicopter from the controller and waste all the batteries. This thing will charge your helicopter up in 45 minutes, give or take. Works great and has a light that lets you know when it is fully charged.
